Pixel art RTS TFC: The Fertile Crescent adds in factions and dynamic music | GamingOnLinux

TFC: The Fertile Crescent is a great fast-paced pixel-art take on an RTS, a little in the spirit of Age of Empires and similar games. The latest update is the biggest yet adding in a faction system.

Previously you always played as one single side but now you choose between The Assyrians, Babylonians and Egyptians. They have a unique look, unique technologies and each have a unique Wonder bonus too. It's a little different here as you pick your civilization during a game, not before it too, as you need to reach a certain level of progress. Not only that the developers also added in a new soundtrack, with each faction having their own and there's multiple tracks. The audio now reacts to the gameplay too so it's all a bit more dynamic. 3d Art Productioin

There's also a redesigned technology tree with space for more as they expand through Early Access, Wonders are now more important, with each having different levels of construction with different bonuses, there's an influence range circle for buildings, the start of adding in Steam Achievements and much more.
